STORY
Zerrin is a woman who suddenly got rich when the urban renewal lottery hit her neighbourhood. She dreams of becoming a famous fashion designer by dressing the women of the neighbourhood in her own designs. A bit of a nouveau riche, but deeply sincere and fun.
Furious when Menkıbe, her rival since childhood, steals her designs and even puts on a fashion show with them, Zerrin sets off on a crazy, life-changing adventure together with her tailor and best friend Fazilet.
Bringing this colourful character created by Yasemin Sakallıoğlu to the big screen in Şahan Gökbakar's first experience as a director, “Zengo” aims to bring a breath of fresh air to the world of Turkish comedy.
